sign for westbourne medical practice

I was commissioned to design, make and install a handpainted sign for Westbourne Medical in the West end of Glasgow. The challenge was fitting it perfectly to the blanked off window on the first floor of the gable end, a feature of many victorian buildings in the area.

The sign was made with high gloss paint and lettered with 23ct gold leaf, in a classic Roman style and the Birch ply board was attached with a hidden anchor system which looks very clean.
